Make your handmade jewellery purchase a green one!

Would you like to make a small contribution to offset the carbon emissions created as part of the administration, creation and delivery of your order? This is a voluntary purchase you can make to do just that!

I will collect these payments and donate them to Carbon Neutral; a non-profit carbon offset organisation based in Australia.

Why it matters

While I try to be as environmentally responsible as I can, of course there is still an impact from my business.

Along with the carbon emitted from shipping your order, to make the jewellery you purchase energy is used by way of lighting, soldering, production and delivery of materials and so on. Operating my business in general requires a web presence, an internet connection, printing, paper, electricity, etc..

By having a carbon offset contribution as a voluntary purchase I’m being transparent by allowing customers to make their own decision about whether to contribute towards offsetting this impact.

Notes:

  • Most of the gold and silver I use is recycled rather than newly mined. Learn more about my environment and ethics policies.
  • All of my jewellery and other handmade items is individually handmade, so the item you purchase may vary slightly from the one photographed. This is part of the beauty of handmade work.
